Medical Clinic
Each and every patient receives not only medical care, but spiritual care as well. We have Shona pastors available to pray for each patient and counsel them. Several of our patients are terminally ill, and we feel this is an important ministry for them as they reach the end of life. Many people have been baptized and have come into God’s Kingdom because of this outreach.
We also give vegetable seeds to starving families so that they can begin growing some of the foods that will help them recover their health. This also gives them greater variety in their diets, and more food security. Vegetable varieties are types that the seed can be saved from crop to crop.

The Eden Herbal Clinic was founded in 2004 in response to the many people in our region who cannot afford healthcare. The Clinic serves over 5,000 patients at no charge. The Clinic is operated by Judith M. Ervine, who is on our staff and is a State Registered Nurse and a Registered Traditional Healer. Judy uses both western medicine and herbal treatments in the comprehensive health care she provides for our patients. Her herbal treatments are remarkably effective, and the number of success stories is significant.
One of the greatest benefits of the Clinic is the ability to identify children-at-risk who are ill and malnourished. We operate a Supplemental Feeding Programme for starving children through the Ministry of Social Welfare. Currently, we are feeding over seventy starving children. The children receive infant formula, high protein foods, vitamins, and the medical care that they need for recovery. The children are weighed every week to make sure they are being fed properly. Some children come to us with severe burns, and we assist the families with ongoing treatment until the child has fully healed. We educate caregivers on the importance of optimal child nutrition and health, and assist them in each child’s recovery.
Our vision for the future is to develop a mobile Clinic that can reach out to many of the farms in our region. We want to be able to provide health education and basic medical care for people too ill to get to our clinic in Doma. We want to teach people how to use herbs and indigenous plants for health recovery. We want to teach people how to grow more of their food, which will contribute to their good health
